The formal gardens near the château reflect the 19th-century English-style parkland design: structured parterres give way to sweeping lawns, herbaceous borders, and great trees planted over a century ago. Heritage rose varieties frame the south-facing terrace, and ancient magnolias bloom spectacularly each spring.
Beyond the formal areas, wildflower meadows burst with poppies, cornflowers, and wild irises in summer. The walled kitchen garden — le potager — is the estate's productive heart: organic herbs, salad greens, tomatoes, courgettes, beans, soft fruits, and heritage apple varieties. Guests are welcome to pick what they need. Espalier fruit trees line the old walls, and a small greenhouse extends the growing season. The gazebo, tucked among flowering shrubs, offers a shaded retreat for afternoon reading or watercolour painting.
